Olivetta wines in Castelletto Merli

Elisabetta Bianco welcomes me. She moved from Chieri to the hills of Monferrato for love, and together with her husband Marco and her father in law, she now manages the winery and the Bed & Breakfast that complement their Olivetta family farm.

To respect the environment that sustains their production, Olivetta has committed to integrated pest management strategies with a drastic reduction in the use of phytosanitary products. This allows Olivetta Winery to produce high quality wines, while maintaining the healthiness and vitality of the soil.

At Olivetta Winery, you’ll find regional favorites like grignolino, barbera, and bonarda, but also the whites the family is passionate about: sauvignon, chardonnay, cortese. The winery produces up to 20,000 bottles a year, but it also offers wine by measure, following the local tradition.
The quality of Olivetta wines has won the family a clientele that extends beyond Italy to countries including the US and Norway.

The winery is open on appointment for visits and tastings.
