You are Monferrato – Let’s tell its tale together!
Monferrato and the Infernots’ “core zone”
A journey across Monferrato’s wine-growing and producing landscape
WHY THIS MAP?
This map is not a traditional guide to Monferrato, but rather it is designed to provide information about Monferrato through the lived experience, tips and advice of those who know the region (and of those who are getting to know it). Consider it your “how to” handbook, together with the rich content available on www.monferrato.tours. The site’s material is a work in progress that will grow through the contributions of local experts and of “soon to be” experts: Your contribution.
The map is an intuition of Dr. Donato Lanati, enologist and researcher who has always been inspired by the natural beauty and the diverse gastronomic traditions of the region, and whose love for Monferrato has always attracted the curiosity of casual tourists and attentive explorers alike.
On the map you’ll find hiking, biking, and horse-riding trails, car routes, as well as locations of restaurants, bed & breakfasts, wineries, shops and craft businesses, to guide you through a full-immersion in the local traditions.
The map can be downloaded as an interactive pdf, either here or on the home page.
